Titbits...

are what Krimo's has served for the last twenty-two years...

The French call them "Amuse-gueule" which translates to gob-amuser... Something to keep your mouth busy until you get the starters.

Many good restaurants serve various tiny offerings before the meal.

Over the years, we have served our spicy meatballs in tomato sauce, small cheese quiches, pâté on tiny toast, etc...
Lately, we have been serving a Cup-of-Soup! An espresso cupful of soup to sip before the starters. To get the juices flowing.

We never fail to serve the meatballs. We learned the hard way.
A few years ago, we replaced them with sticks of cucumber, celery and carrots... You know... the healthy way! But, our customers weren't impressed at all, so we reverted to our spicy meatballs.

Peace reigned again on Earth.
Titbit: n. A choice morsel, as of gossip or food.

It sounds wonderul my friend - I have promised mi Mariposa that when I take her to the UK we will visit one of your restaurants.

(if I might make one observation though - change the wording of 'Cup-of-Soup' - it sounds too much like Cup-a-Soup - the powedered variety, which I'm sure it is not)

Thanks, Goth! You and Mariposa are welcome to visit anytime if you ever venture this far North.

(Great observation! Just another deliberate Appellation d'Origine Controlée and no, the soup is not powder based, my friend.)
