Our friend Stan Laundon , well-known BBC Radio presenter/DJ, took this photo from the top of Christ Church, Hartlepool's own Art Gallery.
He climbed the 172 steps to the top of the tower in Church Square to take this beautiful shot.
What a fit guy!

The headland looks amazing and so close!

Très belle photo.
Ton ami Stand Laundon est vraiment audacieux pour gravir les 172 marches de la tour de l'église. Cela valait la peine.
Ton restaurant se distingue par le dégradé de la toiture.
Le bâtiment à plusieurs toits ,et balcon vert !?
... et balcons verts. Très bon observateur Crabtree !
Cela rappelle mon enfance et les exercices de mémorisation que nous faisait notre défunt père.
Il retirait la photo au bout d'une minute et puis s'ensuivaient les questions.
En tous cas, c'est un bien joli paysage avec les trois plans bien distincts :
1er plan : le restaurant et le bâtiment à droit,
2ème plan le village séparé du 1er plan par le bras de mer (peut-être chenal, canal ou quai du port),
3ème plan : la mer représentant l'arrière plan.
